Reduce Pain
Your immune system is like the gauges and dash lights in your car. There is a lot going on behind the scenes and these systems (AKA symptoms) let you know when your car needs a check up.
But what if you took your car to a technician and they only looked at the outside of your car and ran a few diagnostic tests to check your engine and transmission?
Could they be missing something that may help you understand why your car isn’t running optimally; possibly your oil tank, brakes, or throttle?
The truth is, many doctors don’t routinely run a variety of lab tests unless there is a clear indication that something is wrong. But prevention is the best medicine. And proactively getting a glimpse of what’s going on internally can give you a major edge in addressing any issues before they snowball into something more serious.
Just like our car, our body begins communicating with us when something is off-kilter. It begins with a very soft whisper – “talking” to you in subtle ways. If left unaddressed that whisper slowly grows louder and louder until your body is essentially screaming at you (often knocking you on your ass) – with the initial imbalance snowballing into unpleasant symptoms, illness, or a full-blown chronic disease.
Proactively taking a peek at what’s happening under the hood by routinely running these essential lab tests can allow us to tune into our body when it’s whispering to us – allowing us to take action and make adjustments before it escalates into something more serious. If I could go back in time and talk to my younger self, this is hands down one of the first pieces of advice I would give to my past self.
If I had listened to the subtle and not so subtle whisper, it would have saved me and my family a tremendous amount of struggle-both physically and emotionally. This is why I am so passionate about sharing these tests with you-becasue I have been on the other side and experienced years of debilitating illness. And I know if I can overcome these obstacles, that you can too!
